Social Worker, LCSW-C
I work with children, teens, and adults to build environments where you feel safe enough to be vulnerable and grow. My approach blends cognitive behavioral therapy, attachment theory, and mindfulness practices—grounded in a deep understanding of how people change across every stage of life.

Miles Goldstein is an LCSW-C with a graduate degree from Catholic University and extensive clinical training in multiple therapeutic modalities. His work spans across the entire lifespan, from children and adolescents to adults and older adults, bringing a deep understanding of developmental psychology to every therapeutic relationship.
Miles has developed particular expertise working with men, having facilitated men's groups for many years. He brings this specific experience to individual work with male clients navigating anxiety, depression, life transitions, relationship challenges, and other concerns in a space designed to honor their needs and encourage genuine vulnerability.
His clinical training encompasses cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), attachment theory, and family and marital approaches. Beyond traditional talk therapy, Miles has studied mindfulness extensively, including yoga teacher training, meditation, breath work, and visualization. He weaves these practices naturally into sessions depending on what serves each client best.

Therapy grounded in trust, developmental wisdom, and evidence-based practice
I believe that the most important skill in therapy is building a positive and trusting relationship where individuals, couples, and families feel comfortable and able to be vulnerable. When that foundation is in place, real growth becomes possible. My approach integrates clinical expertise with a deep respect for each person's whole life—their past, their present challenges, and their capacity to change.
I use CBT techniques to help you identify thought patterns and behaviors that may be holding you back, and develop practical skills to shift them. This approach is especially helpful for anxiety, depression, and OCD.
Whether you're navigating relationship conflict, parenting challenges, or family dynamics, I help create space for honest conversation and deeper understanding between family members.
Drawing on yoga, meditation, breath work, and visualization, I help you build awareness of your body and mind. These practices support stress reduction, emotional regulation, and access to your own wisdom.
I use attachment theories to explore how early relationships shape your current patterns, especially in intimate relationships and with family. This understanding opens pathways to healing.
